My greatuncle, Philip Priore was born May 27, 1877 in Armento.  He was the son of Albina Viola and Pasquale Priore. Philip married Raffaela Marturano, Feb. 26 1906 in Philadelphia. The picture to the left is Philip and wife, Raffaela Marturano.
 Philip had three sisters and a brother. Theresa, born in Corleto, married Alfredo Zampino. Mary, born in Corleto, married Pasquale Ruggiero. After Pasquale's death in 1920, Mary married Michael Troilo. Anna, born in Philadelphia, married Guiseppe DiBabbo and James, born in Corleto, died 1918 in Philadelphia and is buried at Holy Cross Cemetery .
   Philip Priore is buried at Holy Cross Cemetery, Philadelphia (Jan. 30, 1937). next to his mother, Albina Viola,(June 25, 1937) his sister, Anna Maria Priore Ruggiero(Jan. 22, 1953), and her second husband, Michael Troilo(Sept. 20, 1956). Philip's wife, Raffaela is buried there (Feb. 4, 1964) along with Robert Garcia (Oct.31, 1990) husband of Rose Priore Garcia.
Angela Maria Priore is the sister of Pasquale Priore,(Philips father). She and husband John Casolaro are in a 1910 and 1930 census included here. More research is being done on the Casolaro family. They are also from Corleto Perticara.

Phillip Priore, May 26, 1877 in Armento. Filippo (Philip) was Pasquale and Albina's first born. He was born in nearby Armento. Also, Anna, the youngest, was born in 1891 in Philadelphia and her birth record is being researched.
